Musical evening show casing local talent

Saturday 23rd May at 7.30pm

Memorial Hall, School Lane HP8 4JJ

Daniel Castle grew up in a musical family with a ‘Record Breaking’ father and so was always encouraged, but never forced, to play an instrument.

He ended up playing the trombone which landed him a place at the London College of Music. After graduating however, he decided that a career in music was not for him and he pursued other interests, including missionary work and teaching.

Music has been an ever-present hobby though, and he has sung and played trombone reasonably well at several low-profile events! He loves all kinds of music, particularly that encountered in nature.

His passion for the environment has led to him recently opening an eco business called Dan’s Refill Store, in Chalfont St Peter and he would love to welcome you there!

Madeleine Martin started singing at the age of eight and has performed regularly at a variety of music festivals, concerts and local pubs in the area. She has been a regular fixture at the village street party.

Madeleine has a passion for Jazz and Classical music and attends St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood studying for A Levels in Music, Drama and Sociology.

She also currently studies at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London on Saturdays.

Alexander Pullen started playing drums at the age of five and tuned percussion at the age of 11.

He was the youngest finalist in the percussion category of the BBC Young Musician Competition 2018 (see photo above).

A former student of St Clement Danes School and Saturday Junior Royal Academy of Music, in 2019 Alexander was awarded the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship to Eton College where he is studying A Levels in Music, Spanish, Mathematics and Economics.
