Margaret Graham - "Creative Writing Workshop"
Friday 11th May at 10.00am–12 noon
Jordans Quaker Meeting House HP9 2SN
Margaret Graham has been writing professionally for thirty years, and has been teaching writing for twenty five.
She has written several bestsellers both as Margaret Graham and, latterly, as Milly Adams. (Milly is a raw beginner and has only one bestseller to her name thus far.)
Margaret has written for women’s magazines and penned a regular column for Writers’ Forum Magazine. She is also contributing editor for Frost Magazine, and founded and ran The Yeovil Literary Prize when Writer in Residence. Four years ago she founded and runs Words for the Wounded with two other grannies, which raises money for sick and injured veterans by creating opportunities for aspiring writers.
The workshop will look at understanding structure and ‘show not tell’ and will include writing on the spot, both in a group and as individuals.
The morning should be interesting, helpful and always fun.
