Autobiography, Memoir or Memoirs? During this workshop, through buzz exercises, mini-lecture and discussion, you will start or continue your journey in writing fiction, poetry or memoir from your personal experience and maybe your family history.

Please bring a pen, paper, an unnamed hard copy (not on mobile phone) photo of yourself as a child and a pair of metaphoric writing shoes for that trip down your memory lane.

Jan Moran Neil was trained at the Royal Central School ofSpeech and Drama and has a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Cambridge. She has been running regularCreative Ink for Writers’ sessions locally for a long time.

Publications include her performed plays by her companyCreative Ink for Actors – on the London Fringe and in CapeTown, South Africa.

‘Red Lipstick & Revelations’ published by Indigo Dreams includes her award-winning poetry published in the Royal Society of Literature’s periodical.

Creative Ink has just published ‘When This Is All Over ...’ a pandemic anthology for the Rennie Grove Hospice.

Jan’s novel ‘Shakespeare’s Clock’ has just been published by Cranthorpe Millner. She is available for readings.
