About the event

Join TV presenter, author and historian Siddy Holloway for an intimate conversation about her remarkable career to date: from Icelandic actress to uncovering London’s hidden history across the iconic London tube network.

As a presenter of Secrets of the London Underground and Engagement Manager at the London Transport Museum, Siddy’s career both on screen and off has blended performance, research and storytelling to bring the past to life in an unforgettable way. She’ll guide us through her experiences, touching upon how she has embraced new opportunities within her career so far and the fascinating intersection that exists between storytelling, performance and history.

Siddy Holloway is a presenter, author and historian with a passion for uncovering hidden worlds and telling untold stories.

On screen credits include the hugely popular Secrets of the London Underground for UKTV’s Yesterday channel and will be back on our screens in early 2026 presenting a brand new series, Britain’s Favourite Railway Stations, alongside Si King, for More 4 and Channel 4. Siddy has also appeared as an expert contributor in Sky Arts’ documentary Decoding Turner, as well as The West End Through Time for Channel 5.

A curator for Hidden London at the London Transport Museum and a co-author of Hidden London: Discovering the Forgotten Underground, Siddy is a leading expert in her field and a natural storyteller with a passion for history.
