The Writing Competition has become an established part of the Literary Festival and this year prose, poetry and drama submissions were invited from adults and school children in Junior (age 11-14), Senior (age 15-18) and Adult categories. There was an excellent response and the winners' pieces are linked below. Fern Brittain (the well-known TV personality) presented the winners' prizes and their photos are also to be found below.
